Partnership Terms
Last updated: September 12, 2026
These terms apply to any collaboration with Artur Stone ("Creator," "we") built around https://arturstone.com and the YouTube channels operated under the Artur Stone name — a gifted product, a paid placement, a sponsorship, or a vehicle provided for Creator to feature, review, or work on. The other party — a brand, company, or individual, including someone simply offering a vehicle for a video — is referred to below as "Partner" or "you." Agreeing to work together, in any of these forms, means these terms apply, unless a separate signed agreement between the parties says otherwise. Where the two conflict, the signed agreement controls.
1. Editorial control
Creator has full and final creative, editorial, and technical control over any content arising from a partnership — including footage, framing, commentary, pacing, and where in a video or project it appears. Partner does not get pre-publication approval rights unless that's expressly agreed in writing and priced as a separate deliverable.
This includes the right to decline to feature, or to drop from consideration, any product that in Creator's reasonable judgment is unsafe, defective, or otherwise not of a standard Creator is willing to put its name behind — including after receiving a gifted or loaned unit (Sections 7 and 8). Featuring a product is Creator's endorsement to its own audience, and Creator won't make that endorsement for a product it doesn't trust, whether it was free or paid for. Declining on this basis doesn't create any refund obligation beyond what Sections 7 and 8 already provide.
2. Consent when you provide a vehicle
If you provide a vehicle — yours, or one you have the right to offer — for Creator to inspect, review, work on, or otherwise feature in content, doing so means you:
- consent to that vehicle, and to your own appearance, voice, name, and likeness if you voluntarily participate in filming, being recorded, edited, and published across any of Creator's channels;
- grant Creator an irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free right to use that footage, with no separate compensation owed unless expressly agreed in writing beforehand;
- confirm you are the legal owner of the vehicle, or otherwise have full authority to offer it for this purpose and to authorize any work Creator performs on it; and
- accept Creator's editorial control over the resulting content, as set out in Section 1.
This consent covers only people who knowingly and voluntarily appear on camera. If someone else — a friend, spouse, mechanic, or anyone else — is identifiably featured, Creator will look to get that person's own consent separately; providing a vehicle doesn't give consent on another person's behalf.
3. Authorization to operate and work on the vehicle
By providing a vehicle, you authorize Creator to operate, move, road-test, diagnose, photograph, film, disassemble, repair, modify, and otherwise handle the vehicle to the extent reasonably necessary for the agreed project, unless specific restrictions are agreed in writing beforehand. If the vehicle will be driven on public roads as part of the project, you're responsible for making sure its registration, insurance, and any required permits are valid and cover that use.
4. Vehicle condition and repair risk
You acknowledge that work on used, modified, aged, or project vehicles carries inherent risk and can reveal pre-existing, hidden, or unrelated problems that had nothing to do with Creator's work. Creator does not guarantee that a vehicle will end up in any particular condition, or that no new problems will surface during or after inspection, disassembly, repair, modification, testing, or filming.
Creator is not responsible for pre-existing conditions, latent defects, ordinary component failure, or damage that reasonably results from the vehicle's own condition — except to the extent it's caused by Creator's negligence or wilful misconduct.
5. Timelines are targets, not deadlines
Content is built around real, unscripted work on used project vehicles — cars that can and do develop problems no one saw coming. Any publish date discussed with Partner is a good-faith estimate, not a binding deadline. Creator will make reasonable efforts to hit agreed timelines, but is not in breach — and owes no penalty, refund, discount, or make-good — for delay caused by things outside Creator's reasonable control, including:
- mechanical failure or the discovered condition of the project vehicle;
- parts backorders, shipping delays, or supplier issues;
- weather, illness, or other personal circumstances;
- equipment, software, or platform failure; or
- any other cause beyond Creator's reasonable control.
6. If the project vehicle is lost or the project ends
If the featured project vehicle is damaged, judged uneconomical to repair, totaled, stolen, sold, or the project is otherwise discontinued for reasons outside Creator's control, that is not a breach of these terms. Where reasonably possible, Creator will offer to feature Partner's product in a comparable future project instead — but isn't obligated to. Gifted product is in every case non-refundable; Creator has no obligation to return it. For a paid placement affected this way, Creator will discuss a credit toward a future placement in good faith, at Creator's discretion, unless a signed agreement says otherwise.
7. Gifted product
Product sent to Creator free of charge and without a prior request from Creator — an unsolicited gift — does not by itself obligate Creator to publish, feature, or review it. If Creator and Partner expressly agree in writing that content will be produced in exchange for a product or other consideration — whether or not any money changes hands — that written agreement controls, subject to Creator's editorial control and the vehicle-related sections above (Sections 1, 3, and 4). Except where such a written agreement says otherwise, gifted product is non-refundable and non-returnable, and receiving it does not constitute or imply an endorsement.
8. Loaned or demo product
Product Partner sends on a loan or demo basis — expected back rather than kept — is not a gift, and Section 7 doesn't apply to it. Before sending loaned or demo product, the parties should agree in writing on the return timeline, the condition it should come back in, and who covers return shipping. Absent that kind of agreement, Creator will return the product within a reasonable time using reasonable care, but isn't responsible for return shipping costs or for meeting a stricter standard than that.
9. Paid placements
Where Partner pays a fee, that fee compensates Creator's production time and the placement itself — it does not guarantee any specific number of views, engagement, click-throughs, or sales, unless a specific number is expressly guaranteed in a signed agreement.
10. Multiple channels, Creator's discretion
Creator operates more than one channel under the Artur Stone name, currently including the flagship Artur Stone channel (restoration builds) and:
- Artur Stone en Español — restoration builds, in Spanish
- AutoSkill — DIY repair
- AutoSolución BC — DIY repair, in Spanish
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Creator may, at its sole discretion: (a) feature or reference Partner's product on any one or more of these channels at no extra cost; and/or (b) offer Partner expanded placement across additional channels for an additional fee. Featuring a product on one channel never obligates Creator to feature it on any other.
11. No exclusivity implied
Sending product or paying a fee does not, by itself, create any exclusivity against Partner's competitors. Exclusivity is only granted when it's expressly agreed and priced in a signed agreement.
12. Disclosure
Creator will disclose gifted product, loaned product, payment, or affiliate relationships in accordance with applicable advertising and consumer-protection law (for example, Competition Bureau guidance in Canada and FTC guidance in the United States). This applies regardless of any request from Partner to the contrary, and can't be waived by these terms or any agreement. Creator retains sole discretion over the exact wording, placement, and form of any disclosure required by law or platform policy.
13. Product safety and indemnity
Partner represents that its product is safe, fit for its intended automotive use, and compliant with applicable law. Partner agrees to indemnify and hold Creator harmless from any claim, damage, or loss — including damage to a project vehicle — arising from a defect in, or a misrepresentation about, Partner's product.
14. Content ownership
Creator owns all footage, edits, and published content arising from a partnership. Partner may request a limited licence to reuse specific clips (for example, in its own marketing) with attribution — this requires Creator's prior written consent and isn't included automatically.
15. Independent relationship
Nothing in a partnership creates an employment, agency, or joint-venture relationship between Partner and Creator. Each party is acting as an independent business.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Creator's total liability arising from a partnership is limited to the amount, if any, actually paid by Partner to Creator for that partnership. Creator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, unless a signed agreement between the parties states otherwise.
18. Acceptance of these terms
These terms become part of a partnership once the parties agree to work together, including electronically — for example, by confirming a collaboration over email after being pointed to this page. British Columbia's Electronic Transactions Act recognizes agreement reached this way. In practice, Creator will typically confirm a partnership with language along the lines of "By confirming this collaboration, you agree to the Partnership Terms at https://arturstone.com/partner-terms," and treat a reply such as "Confirmed" or "Agreed" as acceptance.
19. Changes
Creator may update these terms at any time. The version in effect when a partnership is agreed applies to that partnership.
20. Contact
Partnership questions can be sent to collab@arturstone.com.
This page states Creator's general, standing terms so expectations are clear before any conversation starts. It's not a substitute for a signed agreement, and it's not legal advice to either party — for a larger or unusual paid campaign, both sides should have a lawyer look at the actual contract.
