5.0-liter V8, red interior — a forgotten piece of the American dream.
The story so far
I had always wanted an old-school American V8, and this Mustang was the opening. It still has its factory 302 — a carbureted 5.0L V8 — backed by an automatic, with just under 100,000 km on the clock. It also came with a much bigger problem: years abandoned and open to the weather have left the car with serious frame and structural rot, and water has gotten inside. Whether it will even start, and whether it is worth saving at all, is still an open question — and that uncertainty is the whole point of this one. The story picks up on the channel once the episode is ready.
