The story so far

This SC400 has an unusual past. It was stolen during a winter party; the thieves lost it on a rural road, dropped it in a ditch and walked away. Nobody found it until spring, when locals spotted it and called the police. With no theft cover, the owner had it towed home, meant to repair it, and instead left it at the edge of the property for years until plants grew through it. He finally sold it to me as a parts car. Opening the doors, there was standing water inside and the smell was brutal. The 1UZ-FE V8 and automatic show ≈222,000 km. Whether this coupe can genuinely come back is what I am documenting for the channel.
