2006 Subaru Forester
A neglected Forester brought back as a practical camping build.
The story so far
This Forester had spent about three years in the seller's backyard, but it was not stock. Someone had already fitted a lift, KYB struts and camping gear, which makes it a solid base for a practical adventure build. The 2.5L naturally aspirated engine and automatic show ≈255,000 km, and the state of the engine, transmission and everything else after years off the road is still unknown. At $2,000 I may well have overpaid — but I think there is a good vehicle under it. The project plays out step by step on the channel.

Build updates, the video episodes, and the parts and tools that go into this car will be posted here as the work happens. Nothing is padded out with guesswork in the meantime.
